Even i have the same problem. I filed my I485 on July 2nd. I have a another labour from different company. I want to use the new labour. My current employer with whom i have my new labour told me to put stop payment on the 485 checks given to USICS so that they will send the 485 application packet back. I am not sure whether we can do
a stop payment to USICS. Spoke to couple of employers and heard that they usually do that for H1B(stop payment). Please adivse.

It's only IV members. We did decide on few things last time, We have some new ideas, to talk. Obviously we need more people to carry on with the efforts...There are several private bills that are being placed in the queue as well as I see a separate bill for foreign nurses is coming up for discussion, we I feel we should talk to our lawmakers to bail us out of the EB-3/EB-2 India/china messWho other than IV is expected or invited in this call? Do we have any agenda, or just a brain storming?

Its been over a month now and have not got any response.

Should i apply for 1-140 before my 6th yearh h visa ends.
I have already applied for 7th year extension but i still have few days left for 6th year h visa.

Can you tell me how did you approach to fix the PD i.e should i approach only via my lawyer or directly and by which means like email, phone, letter etc and which department.

1. I got my H1B extended while I am here in US. After going back to India, are there any issues in getting the visa revalidated, since an immigration petition has been filed on my behalf?
--This should not be a problem, since the H1-B is a dual-intent visa

2. Is H1-B extension based on I-140 possible when not in US?
--Yes. Moreover, if you are in India for a year or more, your 6-year clock starts again.

Hi,

My I140 is approved and I485 is pending. I am working Full Time as a Software Devloper on EAD with a Consulting Company. I have been offered a part time work of same nature by my friend. He has a company and he offers to pay me on 1099.

Would it be ok to work part time(15 Hrs. per week) and accept payment on 1099.

Please advise.

In EAD, you can have as many jobs as you can (using 1099 etc).

I played around with this a bit, and found the solution. The problem occurred when I had "Empty Project." I created a new project "Console Application," and then I was able to "load" the Process class/namespace. Can anyone explain to me why this would happen? I did a few searches online, but didn't find much help...

Those who have been using C# for a while, what type of project do you mostly choose that are NOT GUI?

Thanks. Basically we are trying our options and chances to see if it is possible to work towards a fellowship based on the current restrogressed scenerio. Would any of them have handled such scenerios, I guess Khanna's office would be best option ??? Stephen Perlitsh seems to have answers to all kinds of questions but he is difficult to access.

My wife and I were entered on AP lately and since I work for the same employer, I am still working on my H1 and am planning to extend my H1. My wife is working on EAD, can she still able to apply for H4 based on my H1? We want to have her H4 as a back-up!

Hi All,

We need to work towards fixing the USCIS Online Case Status System of Texas Service Center, lot of people are not receiving updates in email/website about their cases.

How will you do that? I guess, while working on cases, user has to click somewhere to send an email. If they choose not to, then there will be no email. In my case, I never saw consistency in getting emails. I don't think that is a big issue, just check your status periodically. Bigger and important issue is how to get your case processed faster, and in sequence.

My attorney has asked for the I-485 to be printed:

double sided with Flip to Top option.

Did anyone else do the same?

Theres no limit for how many YOU can have, however, there is a limit of 4 stamps that have similar themes. (4 per batch i guess you could say).
