Why not? We have been told that his actions may have endangered or caused the deaths of important operatives. If that is the case, why should it not be a capital crime?

    Yeah, MAY have. That's hypothetical.

Really? Have you read the thread? This is far from the only argument given to get rid of the death penalty.

Yes, and they're all just bleeding heart emotional responses, and i don't buy into that crap. Sorry, but my opinion on this isn't changing. Funny, the polls say non-religious people between the age of 18-29 are most likely to support the death penalty, and that's exactly where i fit.

I wonder how many of these posts are trolls? I haven't had any issues whatsoever with 4.3.1. I also didn't have any problems with 4.3; battery life has been absolutely stellar and call performance actually improved in 4.3.1.

The timing of all these "bitching" posts just seems suspicious.

Well, aren't you the lucky one! ;)

Unfortunately, I can also state that there are numerous issues cropping up after updating for me also.

    1) Slide switch on lock screen sticking
    2) Rapid decrease of battery life - huge concern given I am in Japan and am very keen to keep a high level of battery for emergency usage!! High priority - fix it Apple! No messing.
    3) iOS devices not being able to find known favourite Wi-Fi networks and refusing to join them once they eventually find them.
    4) APPLE TV behaving erratically

    Should the list go on?

I wouldn't call it bitching, but it sounds like there are a good amount of people with very specific issues. What I'm saying is that if you find iOS 4.3.1 unusuable, unstable, or extremely buggy, then maybe you should get your phone checked out because I don't think that's normal for most of us.

Well Amazon started selling Beatles CDs for 7.99 each right after iTunes got the Beatles Catalogue. Pretty much below cost but a lost leader for them.

I don't see why Apple would care. They get paid by the retailer.

It cheapens their product and pisses of their retailers.

Isn't there some kinda law against price fixing like this?

No but as stated before, if a chain is undercutting others then the manufacturer can choose not to sell to that retailer.

Anyone going to the Apple Store in Freehold Raceway Mall?

I should be able to get there around 3-4 if I choose to go to Freehold over Menlo Park, since both are only 20 minutes from me.

Platelet donations take longer than blood donations (at least an hour longer in most cases). You can donate platelets much more often because your body regenerates them so quickly, in a matter of days instead of months. Some people feel temporarily light-headed after donating blood, which is why they insist that you rest and have a snack afterwards. That happens less often with platelet donations.

One thing I didn't know until recently: A lot of donation centers encourage platelet donation because platelets have a shorter shelf life than whole blood and supplies can easily run low. But if your blood type is O negative (you're a "universal donor") and you volunteer to donate platelets, they'll likely ask you to donate blood instead!

Where can I download a DMG file of OS X Lion Build 11A419. I found sites with rar files or torrent files but no DMG file.

You have to either be invited to the program or pay $99 for the developer program. In short if you have to ask where to get it you're probably not qualified.

What I've been waiting for is true javascript support for wysiwyg textarea editors. I run a Mac blog site and I have to ask users to use Firefox. It seems a little sucky to do that for a Mac specific blogger site. Since Safari 1.3 Apple said they included the nessesary "hooks" for these editors, but no one has been successful in getting any of them to work in Safari.

I downloaded the latest nightly build of Webkit and it still doen't work :(

WYSIWYG support is there and is improving all the time. The developers realize this is is an area of concern and it is on their compatibility hit list (http://webkit.org/projects/compat/hitlist.html). The latest TinyMCE development sources work very well in the WebKit nightlies.

If you discover a bug in your website, please report it using the guide (http://webkit.org/quality/reporting.html) on webkit.org. Bugs can't get fixed if the developers don't know about them.

I'll probably get one, I'm so sick of my dumb phone and tired of seeing the wife with her iP4. It'll just put me in line for the iP6 upgrade path, don't know if I would even use the extra HP with the iP5. Plus, I would think you would be able to sell a genuine white iP4 on ebay and get a good chunk.
