I think if 5000 people from EB3 India with PD in 2007 moved to EB2, then that means 5000 people are reduced from the EB3 India queue?

I just spoke to my attorney and according to him there might be other repurcussions if I block the check. It seems he has heard cases where Federal govt can do proceedings against you for blocking a check and you might end up paying more. Did anyone block their checks sucessfuly and not get into any issues.

This topic may be a bit counterproductive to what we've set to achieve as IVians but I hope folks see this in a true light. I could have set the title 'Return to Homeland', in my case its Return to India, hence the title.
I have been here for the past 9 years and as days progressed, my heart is back home. I may be closer than I ever was to get a GC but it seems I am to a point where I really want to give a shot to R2I. Reasons are several and are probably alike to several of yours. Family, Support and the whole other 9 yards..
That said, finding jobs back home while you are here in US seem not the easiest. I have seen a few in Google/Microsoft but I suppose there are many more. I am looking to return to Hyderabad. The reason why I am posting this here to is to seek help. If you or your friends work for companies that are looking for experienced managers to R2I, I would appreciate if you could post it here or PM me.
I am looking to R2I early next year but if the right opportunity comes along, I cud do it sooner than that. Thanks.

Please admin I need help here. I am leaving my best job and going back to join worst desi employer just to file for 485. But I am scared to death what if he denies to file my 485? what are the documents needed if he denies?

My OPT was ended on Dec 6th, 2008, I am a Ph.D graduate.
I got H1B approved (Company A - Technology Company - not software)from Oct 1st 2008 to august 1st 2011
I lost my job in September, 2008 and I moved to company B (Software), USCIS received my application at the end of October, 2008. It is still under process.
Recently in June, I moved to another job (Company C - non profit and very good institute). Now USCIS is aksing (I have time to provide this until July 20th) for paystubs in October to check my valid stay in US, which I do not have, I only had OPT Card and I20.
What is my Option now? Do they approve or ask me to go back to India and get stamped right away? or If they deny it now, what should I do? Please help me out. I paid $230 to sheila murthy before I got this job, she said they would either they approve, or they would ask me to get stamped by going India. Please help me out,

I take my words back. I did not posted any Indians Pic with President and I Have respect for Indians who reached to this level and can feel the pain of a fellow immigrants. Unfortunatey people like them dont even think they are INdian anymore. thats why I dont see any reason why try to feel happy for them because they just have Indian name.
Now all RED dots are welcome.

All Indians are not like that. The desperation of your post suggests that you don't need direction, you need therapy. We just need someone to give us some assurance that we will all be fine and live to see the light of the day on Tuesday even if DoS sends out a revised Visa Bulletin. You are right... you should not submit documents with your LC first submission. In my case, they asked for some documents after my submisission(what it's called Audit); one of them was the Ad which they were not satisfied with it, so they Denied my case. However we appealed sending the whole Ad page making them change the case back to 'In Process'.

Now my question is, did they ask you to submit the newspaper ad some point after your manager/lawyer submited your LC application online? It seems like you sent the just ad part and they were not satisfied with it and asked more evidence and you sent the whole page again. Did they deny your LC after you sent the whole page ad or what point did they deny it?

My 140 was in TSC and recently got transfered to NSC,where my 1-485 is pending.
At this point I dont think my employer revoked 140 .(pretty much sure)
If it is cleaning up files ,then why Pending again ,this is what is making me worried.

(I invoked AC 21 and also got RFE last August when my PD was current momentarily for which i responded back with EVL(employment verification letter) .
Any thoughts.

If black and whites are acceptable then i think you can make copies of an existing one, just make sure you copy it at your employers copier that too in the working hours, that's the Cheapest way of doing it.:D
